GTA 6 Trailer Has Broken Multiple Records Online The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has made headlines after Rockstar Games decided to release it early due to a leak. It quickly went viral online.
GTA VI Takes First Prize
Grand Theft Auto VI established its initial record with YouTube trailer views: Avengers: Infinity War had the previous high mark with 4.1 million, but GTA VI quickly broke this mark within hours, surpassing it by 7 million likes compared to Avengers Infinity War’s official trailer with its 6 years of viewings accumulated through six years; Battlefield 1 Reveal Trailer had only 2 Million.
GTA 6 trailer was the second-most-watched video, following Mr Beast’s 7 Days Stranded at Sea which attained 46 million views in its initial day of release and held onto that title until now.
Comparatively, GTA 6 trailer reached over 61 Million views in just 13 hours! Butter by BTS has amassed around 108 Million Views within 24 Hours as the most watched video. Today we could witness Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 break the all-time views record!
Rockstar Games’ YouTube channel recently saw an upsurge of over 1.6 millions subscribers over one day alone! Prior to their trailer being released they had around 7.6 million subs; as of today there are now over 9.1 millions.
The trailer has quickly become a hot topic on social media platforms like Twitter (currently known as X) and YouTube, garnering much discussion online.
Stock Market Prices Were Affected
Take-Two Interactive’s share price saw an unexpected decline after GTA VI Trailer leaked, with market closing with almost 5% decrease and disappointment among investors who anticipated that game’s release date to be 2024 instead of 2025. Trading has since recovered to prices below pre-trailer.
The trailer leaked had a watermark stating “BUY BTC,” suggesting viewers should purchase bitcoin. As expected, its price did increase but has since returned to pre-leak levels.
